Time for some dirt!
After getting through the formalities at the Namibian border it was time to hit the dirt roads past Ais Ais with a quick stop to view the Fish River Canyon. With most of the roads in great condition the 425km would not be a problem. While the main dirt roads in Namibia allow for high speeds, you always have to be very careful of wash-aways that haven’t been repaired.
After a lunch stop at the Canyon Roadhouse and topping up with fuel we made our way to Keetmanshoop for a couple of beers and a great dinner.
