With 314km on dirt roads planned for the day we managed to make good progress on the roads that were all in good condition and by lunchtime we were already close to our overnight stop.
Our route took us over the rolling red dunes of the Kalahari again, with sandy patches on top of some of the crests keeping us alert. With the following day being over 500km of dirt, we decided we should cover more distance today, as everyone was still fresh and happy to push on a bit.
Two phone calls later we had arranged alternate accommodation, and with a few changes to the planned route we arrived at Keetmanshoop with time to spare.
