An all tarred road day of 352km, but with a border crossing from Botswana back into Namibia, so after breakfast we didn’t waste too much time before enjoying the sandy stretch back to the main road.
Botswana is very strict with speed limits, and while we had managed to avoid being pulled over until now, 15km before the border post two riders at the back of our group weren’t so lucky. Fortunately they were only slightly over the limit, so the fines were not excessive, and didn’t put a damper on our spirits. A relatively easy border crossing and we were soon at our lodge in Namibia enjoying another great barbeque.
